The SC6022X is a non-contact, high-speed, high-precision magnetic encoder chip. It incorporates a Hall-effect sensor matrix at its core, which generates sine and cosine position signals by sensing a pair of polar magnets above it. The internal analog-to-digital conversion circuit samples the amplified sine and cosine signals, while the DSP circuit performs angle calculations, ultimately outputting various position signals. The SC6022X achieves 12-bit resolution, generating 4096 angular increment signals per revolution. The zero position signal can be programmed via the SPI interface, supporting speeds up to 20Krpm.
